What most viewers never knew is that the home was already under agreement before filming even started. The negotiations were done and the buyer had already been chosen. When the episode aired, the story had been recreated and edited to be a lot more dramatic. That’s television, and the goal is to entertain. The problem is that many people walk away thinking that’s how buying a home really works.
