2012 holiday season in the Andovers, Haverhill and surrounding towns is a great time of year to see what our communities have to offer in a fun, festive atmosphere. FRIDAY 12/7 HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS – Downtown Andover 5 to 9pm. We’ll be on hand to Emcee this ongoing Andover tradition and with Main street closed to traffic, you can stroll up and down the street & explore the local merchants who are ready with some festive treats! Tree lighting infront of TD Bank at 6:30, Hayrides for the kids, music from Ted Teichert and Country 102.5 WKLB, PLUS Santa makes an appearance at Enterprise Bank from 5-6pm. Free for all.
SATURDAY 12/8 BREAKFAST WITH SANTA – Free Christian Church on Elm St. from 9am to Noon. Raffle gift baskets, crafts for the kids, you could win an iPad, and even have your picture take with Santa for $7. Proceeds go to support the Andover Ladies Warriors Hockey Team.

SATURDAY 12/8 THE CHRISTMAS STROLL – A Haverhill tradition we were proud to be a part of for many years. Downtown Haverhill: Merrimack, Essex, Washington and Wingate Streets from 4 to 8pm. Strolling Carolers and Musicians, Featured Food Tent, “Light up Haverhill” & Light Show, Gingerbread Cookies, Ornament Making, Santa Claus Arrives to Light the Tree, Celebrate Emerging Artists & Shop @90Wash, Traditional & New Music LIVE in Washington Sq, Christmas Village, Crafts & Candy at Haverhill Bank, Christmas Castle & Photos at Pentucket Bank, Discover NEW Shops and Lots, Lots More!
NORTH ANDOVER
SUNDAY 12/9 MRS. CLAUS DAY AT THE FARM – Visit Smolak Farms from 10:00 – 12:00 and have breakfast with Mrs. Claus upstairs in the barn. There will be crafts, games, stories and more. Reservations required. Cost is $12 per child and $5 per adult. Please call (978) 687-4029 to reserve a spot. From 11:00 – 3:00 visit Santa’s Workshop in the barn. Make an ornament, make your Christmas list or just take a picture with Santa. On the second floor, enter our winter carnival. Games, more crafts, entertainment and fun. Cost of admission to both floors is $10 per child.

11/23 – 12/23 Nashoba Valley Ski Area Holiday Festival of Lights. Relax on a Tractor Drawn Wagon through a magical ride of elaborate holiday light figures & fixtures. Visit classic holiday displays such as the Reindeer Barn, Santa’s Workshop, The North Pole Mailroom, Eskimo Village and more. Also, ride the Ferris Wheel, North Pole Express Coaster, Santa’s Kids Train, and the Magical Merry-Go-Round. Adults $15, Kids $13
