Can you believe it!? The high holiday St. Patricks day, is upon us which can mean only one thing in Haverhill, a 7 foot green rabbit named Patrick O’hare will be serving up the laughs and breakfast to a capcity crowd. It’s all a part of the Haverhill Exchange Club annual St. Patricks Day Breakfast, this year taking place on March 15th, 7:30 am at Diburro’s of Ward Hill.
The event is the clubs largest FUN-raiser to support child abuse prevention efforts in the Merrimack Valley Area through the Michael B. Christensen Family Support Center and the Greater Lawrence Community Partnerships for Children program. Over the past 10 years the event has raised over $100,000 for child abuse prevention efforts and programs in Haverhill and surrounding communities.
This year is the 11th annual and will take on an extra special meaning after the passing of event leader Mr. Rick Barry, who worked and performed on this event and many others with the Haverhill Exchange club for over 10 years.
Tickets are just $25 which includes a wonderful breakfast, Irish music by local band The Square Riggers and lots of fun and laughs to start your St. Patricks Day off on the lucky foot!
