Victorian Valentines Day Party
This fun party will be held at Buttonwoods Museum from 3 – 6 p.m on February 13th. It’s free or $10 donation per family and no need to register. They’ll be making old fashioned valentines, serving tea and cookies, and learning a little about party etiquette in the late 19th century. Dolls & teddy bears included!
Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Spring Expo
This event will be held at Michael’s Function Hall in April. The cut off date for early registration is February 15th, so contact them if you need to get a booth, its open to the public.
Harbor Place
This is a major announcement! Its been 44 years since the old Woolworth building has closed and now it will become home to a satellite campus for UMass Lowell and businesses such as restaurants and stores overlooking the Merrimack River. We are excited for Haverhill!
February 2014 Haverhill MA Real Estate Market Report
Right now there are 72 Haverhill single-family homes for sale, down 5% from last year. Homes sold in the past three months are actually up 4% to seventy-eight units. The median sales price of the homes that did sell were $248,500 and that’s up 7.4% from last year.
Looking at Haverhill condominiums, we can see the spring market showing up a little bit early. There is a 25% increase in available condominiums for sale up 59 units. 60 condos have sold in the past three months, that’s up 7.1%, and the median sales price went up a little bit to $156,250.
Spring market is showing up a little early on the condominium side, where with single family homes there is still a lot of demand.
