Haverhill Community Update for March 2014
A big event for the Haverhill Exchange Club, they’re having a Saint Patrick’s day Breakfast this Monday March 17th at 7:30 a.m at DiBurro’s. It’s $30 per person and all money is going to support the club’s child abuse prevention efforts. It’s a lot of fun, a great breakfast, and a seven-foot tall green rabbit! March 2014 Haverhill Real Estate Update
We’re seeing inventory numbers decline which isn’t unusual, down 8.3% to 77 units, but we see home sales and median prices very
flat year-over-year. We see that the number of sales is still very consistent at 60 units over the past three months. That’s up 1.6% from last year and the median sale price down just 1.2% to $241,000. So, a single-family home in Haverhill pretty much averages about $241,000. That’s flat year-over-year, not much change. We’re seeing a lot of differences in other towns where buyers are buying at different price points, moving that median number up.
The condominium market is actually experiencing some some good news right now. we see the inventory numbers up 10%, so there is more selection this year than last year for condos for sale in the Haverhill community. But, unit sales also up 29.5% to 57 units selling in the past three months. That’s great, we like to see that momentum continue and it’s also helped to increase the median sale price of condos to 8.4% to a median price of $160,000
The condominium side is is actually experiencing a more robust excitment and growth then the single family side in Haverhill.
